    possible problem?

    my ball python shed last night and all seems well but as i got him out tonight and looked closer he has a little bit of exposed skin on his neck. but it is only alittle of exposed skin it is about .5cm long x .2cm wide. is this something i should be concerned about? or is it nothing?

    Maybe he cut himself rubbing on something while shedding?

    Are you seeing open red to pink flesh? If so check his enclosure for something capable of injuring him.Then get some neosporin to place on the wound ,it should help it heal.Also keep the wound clean of any bedding or such.Keep us posted

    no its just white, i think its the skin under the scales. i don't think there is anything in his enclosure that could injurer him, the only thing i can this of is the rock i have in there.

    Ok i have a female that has a couple white scales on her .Its ok
