    Feeding question

    Ok its Tim again.

I am looking at rats and mice as feeders and well i know your supposed to have it as the girth. Is the grams a factor at all? The woman feeds the BP small rats that seem to be 45-60 grams. Will i need to match that in mice? ( wants mice for they seem to be cheaper)

Thanks for you help BP net

If you prefer to have your BP eat rats in the long run, then start buying him appropriately sized rats. If you are able to get mice cheaper and it doesn't bother you to feed mice in the long run, then go for it. Weight(mass) of the feeders is not a suitable way of being able to tell what size is/isn't appropriate. Use the 'girth' method.
