    Misting Question

I was wondering, when you mist your cage (daily for me to obtain 50%-55% humidity) is it OK to spritz your BP on an occasion, maybe once a week?

Does this have any positive or negative effect on them?

When i spray my enclosures its only during the snakes shed cycles.I spray the snake and some of the area around it.I do this maybe every other day, just a light misting of course.Majority of my snakes do not mind the fact i spray them but my het albino male has a hissy fit .

    Re: Misting Question

Depends on the snake ... it could cause stress, or they could just be indifferent to it ... every animal is different.

As you get to know your animal, you'll know if it's ok or not.

    Re: Misting Question

You'll know how your BP likes the misting by its reaction. If it doesn't change its body position, then it may be indiffernt to the spraying, but if it hides in it coils, then it may be bothered by it. Some like it and some don't.
