    OOOh!! OOh!! Pick ME!!!!!!!!(lighting)

Alright i m fairly new to the whole ball python sh-peel(sound it out). And i got it down pretty solid but the only thing i m having trouble with is keeping one side 92-94 at all times.(and i dont know if there is supposed to be a drop in temp. at night, so please) I have a timer that is able to change in incromints of 15min. WHen it is off the whole cage gets about 81-83. and when i leave it on it can get almost 100! So any sugestions of experienced timing will be helpful. And if u can, can i get some detailed stuff.

Thanks a lot(and just to add some fun lets dance!

    And then fight

All right now its a party, tell u friends(the ones with information)!!! ROFLOL

no, they dont need a night drop. get a thermostat or atleast a dimmer to control temps.

Cool Re: OOOh!! OOh!! Pick ME!!!!!!!!(lighting)

Mr. Python is correct. You definitely need a thermostat in the near future and you could settle for a dimmer switch for now. Good Luck.

Unless the room it's in stays at a very constant temperature, or if you're going to be around all day every day to fiddle with it, then yeah. I've been having a lot of trouble keeping temps right with my dimmer..thankfully a thermostat should be coming in the mail soon.

Getting a Tstat is the best way to go, no doubt. It will keep your temps from jumping around from too hot and dropping too to cool. Just return the timer and check out http://www.reptilebasics.com/. Rich is a very nice guy!
