    Question another shed question

I've been trying to let my new hatchling settle in (only had for 2 full days) but, things keep coming up. I had to move him to clean his cage already (did a #2), then he shed last night and it wasn't all in one piece. It looks like it is all there but, it's hard to tell. I've seen the head part and the eye caps were shed. He's been in his hide all day (understandable) and I really do not want to bug him again. Do I need to make sure all the shed is off? or can I give him a few days to settle in? My humidity was at 70% for the shed but, I think since he was just shipped on Monday, it wasn't a better shed for him. I know how to help him with a retained shed, I just haven't really been able to "give him his space" yet. Any suggestions on how to proceed in this case. I'll do what needs to be done, I just want to stress the little guy as little as possible.

    Re: another shed question

if the humidity was around 70% for the shed it will most likely all be off there is little reason to worry IMO.

I would leave him to settle in for a few days and then check him over you wont do him any harm leaving him to settle in.

There is a moose loose aboot this hoose !
