Question about hide...

Ok, so I recently added an identical hide on the cool side of my BP's terranium. Now, he wont ever leave it. He's always on the cool side, even after feedings, and whenever I reach in and grab him, he's cool to the touch. Whats up with that? I get worried that maybe he's too cool...

Are you measuring the warm side IN the hide or outside of the hide? Hides can trap warm air creating an environment that is 10 or more degrees warmer than the substrate.

If it's perfect in there, then just relax. Balls know how to regulate just fine.

Ok... well just checkin, cause like I said... since I added that hide... he's been much cooler to the touch than before... but right on Thanks as always
