    Unhappy please help

ok, so i work at a pet store and tonight one of our baby balls that we had passed away, and im real worried because they keep them all in very close qaurters and i have no idea what was the cause of his death, ive been worried about him for a while and i brought it to the attention of the vet tech we have on staff but i was told that the weird milky white buildup on his eye that i was worried about was just old eyecaps and once he gets soaked he should be fine, problem is this poor little guy was also not eating but i was told not to worry and it would right itself, obviously it didnt and now im worried about the other snakes in the store.as i said earlier he wasnt eating and he had a strange milky white buildup on his eyes, and i have 4 balls at home and some of them have retained eyecaps at some point in time and got rid of them next shed but i have never seen the milky buildup on any of them, i was just wondering if this was maybe something i could have prevented by trying to get them to pay more attention to him or if i was wrong and what happened was just natural, i would really appreciate some input and i thank everyone in advance, i am very worried and a pretty sad at the passing of this poor little guy as i had grown pretty attached to him R.I.P percy

Without seeing it, I'm not quite sure what the milky substance was. However, if the snake was not eating, I would say that that was a possible cause of death. Without further information, I'm not sure that anyone could give you a definitive cause of death.

ok, thanks, i guess i just kinda felt guilty like maybe if i had bugged the vet tech about the fact that it definately didnt look healthy maybe the poor little guy would still be alive
