    Pedro Ate, Finally

I'm sure you all remember Pedro and Donna the 2 BPs I for back on March 15th. They had belly rot, RI, retained eyecaps and other problems. I have been posting now and then that Pedro hasn't eaten yet. Well after 4.5 months he finally ate. I offered him a live rat today and closed his drawer and walked away. I heard a loud thump after about one minute. I have offered him live before and he refused it. I have offered him a F/T every week, and he has always refused. I am so happy. We got all the issues on those two snakes cleared up in a short amount of time. They have been through several homes and a lot of neglect from the looks of them when I got them.

I dropped the rat in there expecting to pull it out in 30 min or so with no results, but it was a pleasent suprise to hear that thump.

Yay Pedro! Nothing like hearing the sound of a strike after a lengthy fast.

Congrats Lars and Pedro! That's great news Lars and wonderful of you to be so committed to rescuing and rehabbing these two snakes.

Oh good news!! It is always good to hear of snakes either getting healthy and recovering or staying healthy!
