Ok, I went ahead and fed him 3 frozen mice with some tongs and he gobbled them up. Now with him being about 2 feet should he still be eating crickets or should I just keep him on mice? Also is there anything else I can give him to kinda bribe him into being a sweetie?

It's always good when they eat 
I've never had any experience with BTs but I know with savs its recommended to let them have insects still as it's good for them to chase them for the exercise. Best of luck!
