27qt Sterilite Heating

I built a rack for 27qt sterilites, and the tubs can be situated either way. I ordered 3" flexwatt and I don't know wether to run the flexwatt down the 24" side or the 16" side. Which would work better.

I would run the heat down the 16" side, in order to give the snake the widest thermal gradient possible.

I guess it depends on how you want to run your tubs. The biggest thing is to create 2 different heat zones zones. So run your flex watt that will maximize heat in one end and have a no heat on the other end.
