My snake has a bump

I enlarged it so you can see. it is mounded outwards a bit from the normal skin, whitish, looks like something got under the skin?
Previous picture of her a month or so ago I cant see a bump. This is an import CH hatchling
Any ideas?

I cant help you with this, Wish I could.. Hopefully Adam or Kara see this post and can tell you what they think it is. Sure it's not an infected rat bite?

Possibly where a tick was removed improperly. If you want put a little neosporin on it to help it heal.

Does it feel like a cyst or definite lump under the skin or something like that?

Re: My snake has a bump
It may be an encysted parasite that has gotten infected. Looks a little purulent inside. I would have a vet look at it and maybe incise it just to see what it is; abscess, parasite, etc.

I think a vet visit too, I don't want to be alarmist but I had a rescue corn that had a tumor (apparently rare in snakes though) - but best to get it checked out.
