    Finished first shed!

too bad it wasn't in one piece She shed this morning and it came off in about 3 pieces, she did shed her eyecaps so I was happy about that. She looked as though she had a little left right on top of her head so I've got her in a damp pillowcase and in her cage on the warm side. hopefully she'll get rid of that last bit. Unfortunatly my thermostat and flexwatt haven't shown up yet, so I had to use a ceramic heater which killed my humidity. I made my own humidifer and bought a small room humidifier and still could only manage 55% which was not enough. BAH. I bet she's starving so I can't wait till later to feed her.

On a side note she looks absolutly stunning! omg her colours are even more incredible than when I first got her.

    Re: Finished first shed!

Congrats Alex. On a side note, if you are having problems keeping your humidity up during the shed, you could always soak your ball for 15-30 minutes a day. The snake will have a successful shed if they are hydrated. So a good soaking after they come out of the blue is always helpful. And, three pieces to a shed is not bad at all.
    Congrats,
