Eggs?
Is there any way to tell if a ball python is gravid. I just bought a new ball python, from a pet store, she is about 1750 grams and only 3feet 8 inches long. I have never held a gravid bp but I think this one feels very lumpy. The pet store said she has had her only 6 weeks, and only has been feed once a week. I know I should not buy inports but there was something about this snake.

If she's been eating once a week for 6 weeks, she's not gravid.

Adam would you think a new import would eat like that any way? Is there any way to tell if she is gravid?

No. The vast majority of the time, new imports don't eat at all. Import or not, gravid females never eat like that.

Someone with experience could palpate her, or you could have her ultrasounded.
