Pics of some of our BP's

Well since I had them all out for weighing tonight here are some of the BP's we have...missing from tonight's photo shoot are Brannagh, Orlah and Kyna...please excuse my usual cruddy photography especially on the littlest female, Muirne, I truly suck at close up stuff LOL.

Little Rionach (some of you may remember her as orginally being called "Baby") who is not so little now at just around 900 grams. She seems to never grow and then take big spurts of growth in girth and length. I'm in love with the shape of her head....always seems to delicate and graceful to me. She's a nice normal type female.

Our only 06 right now...Muirne...who I bought recently for Mike's Father's Day present. She seems so darn tiny at only 100 grams but she's very fiesty and we love her reduced pattern. Another normal female.

For those that have followed Saoirse's story over the months we've owned her, here she is...all 1140 grams of her! Saoirse (a normal female) is our only confirmed WC rescue though since some of the others have come from pet shops...we'll never know. I love lifting her now and finally feeling some heft...the best part is that her scar (likely received during capture) is fading with every shed...no more big ugly white mark...it's amazing how much she's healed and is gaining weight but the best part is her accepting us....no more balling up in fear for Mz. Saoirse!

The big fella, the stud, the snake about town....Malachi!...I nearly fell over when I weighed him tonight at 950 grams! He turns 1 year old this coming Monday LOL. Malachi is our first BP bought directly from a breeder (Adam at 8Ball) and is 100% het for albino. Mr. Mal was less than impressed and tried to tag me but hey when there are female snakes around....who needs me! LOL

Hopefully I can get shots of some of the other snakes when they aren't in shed or slithering off out of camera range too fast for my poor skills to keep up!

Thanks April! We try and it's a pure pleasure to do so. Sarah, there's tons of threads with pics of our snakes LOL. For the longest time we didn't have a digital camera so when we got one I went a bit snap happy for awhile there.

Your snakes are awesome, and your photos aren't bad either
I am really diggin' Muirne's reduced pattern. They all look healthy and happy.

Yeah Saiorse!! It sounds like she's back to eating again.

Your gang is looking good as usual. I definitely like Muirne, she's a beautiful addition.

(But dang couldn't you name at least one and easy name?! )

Re: Pics of some of our BP's

Thanks for the compliments everyone! We're really pleased with the snakes considering the move and all that, they've handled it pretty well all and all. Only Kyna is being a bit difficult to feed (of course she would be...she's the one I was hoping would hit breeding weight this year lol...we'll see how she goes over the summer).

Vaughn, I cannot say enough about this male from Adam. He's simply amazing. You can make book on that boy eating...nothing puts him off his feed. We've had I think one refusal in his entire time with us...doesn't matter to Mal what's going on...moving...shedding...whatever...feeding night is feeding night for that fella LOL. I don't know if his mother or father are particularily big BP's but Malachi's got some size on him for a male (or perhaps I'm just used to thinking of males as much smaller, my inexperience is showing here).

Yep Christie, Saoirse was a bit slow to start back after her winter fast but now she's usually the first one to hit her rat and is making some nice gains in her weight finally. We're hoping to breed her this year but that all depends on how she goes and like all the females, we wouldn't dream of putting her with Malachi if she isn't in absolutely top condition.

As far as the names, talk to Mike about that LOL. I'm still having to use notes to remember how to spell Muirne's name (thanks to Robin though I just remember "it's like Murine but you move the i" LOL)
