It could but why would you? The bird could be diseased, have eaten poison, etc. Stick with feeding your snake rodents.

i wouldnt even feed my BP a mouse or rat if i cought one locally. its just to risky.

Definatly, i wouldn't want to feed anything to Monty that hasn't been born and bred for that purpose. animals unfortunatly pick up all sorts of harmful materials in the urban jungle, maybe if you're out on a farm (like some of us here) there are less poisons or whatever put out for rodents, but i still wouldn't want to feed anything wild caught to Monty intentionaly.
