    He just won't eat!!!!

Hey guys - any suggestions - this little guy is a month old and he simply isn't interested in food.. I have tried the following

    - Dead pinkies
    - Live pinkies (supervised)
    - Waggling the mousey
    - warmin the mouse
    - Putting him in a little box with the mouse
    - "braining" the mouse - i.e splitting its skull open for its brain matter

Just kinda at a loose end -dont want to "force feed" him - any ideas?

A month old? Not a big deal ... I don't start to panic until around 16 weeks.

Simple answer ... small tub, shoe box size ... fill it with crumpled up newspaper ... wait at least a week ... small live hopper mouse overnight ... it'll be gone by morning ... I've started enough babies to know what I'm talking about.

    ROCK ON!

I have a 7 month old bp that would not eat for 3 months. She had lost some weight so I had to force her. After 3 force feeds she eats regularly now but will only eat rat pups. Wont touch a mouse.

For whatever it's worth, in 25 years, I've never had to force feed a ball python.
