    Hide too hot??

hello!i just got my bp about 1 week ago and i got the setup going great thanks to all of you guys n' gals out there. i was just wondering if it's dangerous if the inside of the hide gets to be about 96F or a bit above. I have one of those exo-terra caves and i usually a 75 watt heatlamp over it as well as a heat pad. with this setup the temp is 90F on the hide side and about 80F on the cooler side...just perfect. I just dont want to cook Ira when she is indside her cave(which is most of the day). Thanks for any advice-

Try to get it down to around 92-94 in that cave. Everything else sounds about right. The cool side should be around 82-84 too. You'll be right on the edge of risking an RI if you drop much below 80.
