    African rock pythons to trade

Ok, i can get a hold of some african rock pythons that are around 100lbs and 9' long each. They are eating chickens and rabbits. Is there anyone who would be intrested in a trade for these. These snakes are huge. I dont want them as they are too big for me. I am in columbia Sc so if anyone is intrested let me know

    thanks

You want to make a trade for something you don't have?

Out of curiosity, much do you know about AfRocks?

Good luck finding a home for those guys...trade or no trade....they are huge, nasty tempered snakes with huge appetites and after all they eat, make a giant poop for you to clean up...bigger that probably a St. Bernard's!!!

    no thread crapping!!!

    get it

I dont think he is trying to find a home for these insomuch as he has access to them where others might not, and is trying to offer them for trade?

My question is, what method are you planning on using as shipping? If you do have someone who wants to trade, how are you going to guarantee health/condition if you dont have them in your possession?

    The inevitable cry for PICS!

I have a healthy female that's between 9-10 feet and is not even half the listed weight - so I am anxious to see what these look like.

Re: African rock pythons to trade

No shipping that is why i posted my city and the weight.. thought that was very well implied, i would have thought most would get that 100 pounds is pretty much out of many peoples price range.. not unless you want to pay the shipping... thought it was well implied sorry for not putting it in bold

about a guarantee, well, they were not raised by me so i guess that would be something the person would have to put in the big equation...

I mainly posted this here for those interested in these big snakes. I thought it was crazy to find such a big snake and if someone is having a hard time finding one i have found 2....

Hell I put trade, but i really dont care. I thought maybe the person could give me a break on some of their snakes.. I didnt realize how literal you guys are. This is not cut and dry.. come on ... hey it's me waving outside the box, can you all see me. For some, i guess, to stay in the box is a safe place.

oh yeah, i really dont know alot about rock pythons.. i dont think i stated anywhere in the thread about my knowlege about rock pythons in general.. again , more implied thought here, i figured the person interested in them would??? I have seen the snakes and gone over them and they look very healthy.

and the snakelady's post was the best.. I didn't say I was trying to find a home for them... but thanks for the intellectual break down of the pooping.. I will keep that in mind.

    Wow!!!

Sorry if I offended you,..i didn't mean any harm... but I was just sharing my personal view on the matter...it has been my experiences with the people I knew that had these snakes had a difficult time trying to give them away, nonethless sell or trade them, because there just isn't a big demand for these big guys...but at any rate, good luck (rubs four leafed clover), and I hope you get what you're lookin for..

Really no need to get too defensive - reread your post and I think you'll see why those clarifications were needed. I don't think it is a matter of waving outside the box - people just want to know about the box - whose it is, how heavy, how it will get here, what you can tell them about it etc. There was very little information in the original post for anyone to really be able to even INFER what you suggest should be apparent to them - and knowing the general disposition of these big snakes you would be placing into someones care would probably be considered fairly important.

thanks for the post. I really just put this up to help others out and i thought if i scratched their back that person would scratch mine.. that is all. IF you guys really want these let me know... All i want to do is get into breeding some balls and I thought this might help me meet some great people.

I wasnt offended. I just hate when you try to do something or try to help others out on a message board and you get bombarded by Nahsayers.. the crazy thing is it happens on every message board. It just gets old.

I guess that can go both ways...

the reason i didnt put much into it is..one the snakes are friggin huge and not much to tell as the guy bought them from a breeder and has had them the whole time.. 2 it would have to be a local person who wanted them so instead of wasting time and typing all of the info we could just talk on the phone ( as i see now i have done more typing than i would have ..) 3. I know that many are not into these big snakes so it would take a special person to want them.. so we could talk on the phone... but i guess it sparks all sorts of intrest
