    World Cup.

Well I know some of you are not into the whole Soccer (real football ) thing but those that are I want to get your opinions. The Fifa World Cup is starting very soon and I want to know what team does everyone think will win it all. Me, in pulling for Brazil (easy choice) or England (hopefully Wanye is able to play)

Haha....I couldn't even tell you what teams are out there...much less who is playing in the World Cup...and even far less likely I could figure out a likely winner.

I do hope you find some like minded fans to discuss with, though. Although....you soccer/football fans can be kind of insane!

my pal is from london, and is just nuts over soccer! his fave team is the hammers. he says there not the best but he is still a die hard fan.
over there people get tattoos to represent their love for a team. some guys noticed his hammers tattoo and started a fight with him outside a club. English people are serious about that kind of stuff.

The only thing i know about soccer is...DAVID BECKHAM!!!! mmm now thats just a slice of heaven!!

I'm sorry to say, being English but i don't think we have a chance in hell. the problem with the England squad is that they don't like to change things. If you notice, we always take the same team to the World Cup. If things don't go to plan, eg, injuries, we don't have a 'plan B'. For example, Wayne Rooney's injury, the whole nation are praying for him.

    Re: World Cup.

I don't (yet) have an opinion on who will win...maybe after I have a good look at the line-up. I'm hoping we get to see some good football from Brazil, though I don't want them to win....from the "classic" teams, I'd probably root for Germany -- though I didn't really like the way they performed in '02 (yes, I know they made it to the final, but I didn't like their play...).

Anyway, we're setting up a projector here so we can watch in style. ;-)
