    BP world records????

    I know there are records for snakes in general, but does anyone out there know the world record holders for BPs???...such as the:
    1.heaviest BP
    2.oldest BP ever lived
    3.length of longest BP
    4.biggest clutch of eggs
    5.price of the most valuable morph sold ...to date
    ...any other pertinent record holders...
    ...anyone know any of these???

    paludarium with fish

    Yup, but nothing really concrete ... mostly just by word of mouth.

    It might not be Guinness World Record Certified, but according to the The Ball Python Manual by Vosjoli, Kilngenberg, and the Barkers....the oldest living bp on record was 47 years old and it that lived at the Philadelphia Zoo from 1945 to 1992.

    I don't remember where I read it, but supposedly the longest BP on record was a wild-caught female at a little over six feet.

    How long do we have records of BP's in captivity? At 47 years it seems possible that there are some may yet live longer, and we just havnt seen/heard/kept them long enough
