What are your Memorial Day Weekend Plans

Anyone doing anything exciting? No real big plans here - other than Karl and his son want to go fishing and I get to go watch (boy that will be fun! LOL). I'd much rather stay home in the A/C and read a good book while they do that, but they want to make it a family thing.

Other than that - we really don't have much plans other than to enjoy the long weekend. I'm hoping there are others with just as exciting plans as ours so that the boards aren't completely empty! LOL

Doing the family get together thing. Good 'ol texas BBQ, beer, juicies for the crumb snatchers and another chapter of pics for my Military scrap book. Most of all being greatful for ALL whom served and paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Have a safe holidays to all.

I will be working on my vehicles all through the weekend.

The bronco first, since the oil pump went out yesterday...and then the contour gets an oil change if I dont trade it for another vehicle I have taken a liking to.

I'm going to steal the neighbor's BBQ and use it as my sons birthday party.

Going to be completely unoriginal and cookout on Monday, MAYBE try to drive down to va beach on sunday if the weather cooperates...which it NEVER seems to...it basically rains all weekend in richmond during the summer and then is beautiful come monday morning when everyone is at work all day....

Headed with the kids to the parents place in Nebraska to visit...then GOLF, GOLF, GOLF.....

No special plans here, except to relax and enjoy the fact that my hubby has a day off. But the following weekend, we're meeting my sister in New Mexico for some beautiful camping in the mountains near Santa Fe. (If I'm remembering her info correctly...she's the camping expert, not me!) Should get some great chances to go herping and just hunting for wildlife in general.

I'm cat sitting!! I know you are all jealous, as that will be the highlight of my weekend. Of course we'll probably cook out on the grill Monday, and possibly be bullied into seeing Over the Hedge too. (the little boogers want to see that very badly)

Oh and Jeanne you are my hero. I feel so car savvy since I can add windshield wiper fluid and check the oil. Unfortunately that is the limit to my mechanic skills.
