    Finally! My first f/t!

First off, I'd like to say that I was on these boards a few years ago, but I recently rediscovered the site and now I'm back. Second, today, for the first time my bp, Link, took his first f/t mouse! He's been eating live for two years and hasn't even wanted to touch f/t. Well, I didn't feed him for two weeks to make sure he was hungr. Today I thawed the mouse in a bowl of water (in the bag that is) and then used a blwo dryer to get it nice and hot, The I offered him the large f/t mouse amd he looked at it for a few minutes, then took it! I'm excited because this means that I won't have to worry about rats later on in his life. Just wanted to share the good news.

Congrats on the successful f/t feeding! Are you trying to wean him over to f/t?

Excellent! Glad to hear that it was successful for you! You know you can feed him mice for the rest of his life if you wanted. You don't HAVE to switch to rats.

    Oh, and Welcome Back!!!!!

Yes I am. That's why this feeding was so significant.
