Animal Plastics - the cage of choice around here?

I see a lot of comments about AP cages around here...mostly the T3. Is this brand the cage of choice around here or just one of many viable options? Thanks!

I prefer boaphile personally. Cheaper, lighter weight, and no extra stuff to get in the way.

Wow you are right. Very clean looking and not too pricey. What do you mean by "no extra stuff to get in the way?"

Oh you know what I was thinking of vision cages.. lol.

AP are heavier and don't come assembled.. boaphile is ready to go out of the box. Shipping cost is not included whereas at boaphile it is.

Boaphile has been known for long lead times as much as 6 weeks or more. AP shipped my 2 cages in less than 2 weeks. I really wanted boaphile cages because they do look better (in the pics anyway). But the assembly is not difficult and it has been a great cage. No problems at all great cage design and precision pieces. It fit together perfectly. The only negative I have to speak for is the door latches. Boaphile has some custom latch where AP has cheap little plastic tabs. Other than that they are great. Too bad I want a rack now and I am selling mine. Just throwing my 2 cents out there

Personally, AP is the only non-metal (aka, other than Freedom Breeder) rack/cage I will buy. There are a LOT of choices out there, and I find that AP has something that will suit every application I need - from baby bloods to adult blackheaded pythons. You get what you pay for - the quality is fantastic, and their customer service is second to none.

I have *yet* to be disappointed with a single enclosure I have from them (knock on wood)...

Something about the terrestrial cages with how well they hold heat and humidity that you could successfully keep many different snakes in the coldest, dryest of houses.

I'm happy with their racks as well, however I would certainly classify them as economy level- there's other plastic racks out there you can climb on- I wouldn't do that with my ap racks!

At some point I'll get some AP racks.. just for cages, I'm happy with boaphile.
