question about feeding

So I heard that you are supposed to wait a couple of days to handle your snake after you feed him....how long should I wait??? Thanks!!!!!

Really just 48 hours?? I wait like 3 or 4 days!! lol Guess im a lil paranoid!! I feed Davu on thursday night and didnt handle him until today(Monday Evening).
