They'er Heeee-eeeee-eer
Received our new pets yesterday (Tues.) around 11:00. I was soooo excited, that I had the knife all ready to open the box and inspect it as soon as Fed Ex pulled up. < Gave the driver the nervous heebee jeebies with the knife > It was nuthin but a little steak knife!! I SWEAR! (Seriously, that's all it was.) I even told him it was Christmas I was sooooo eager!
Anyway, had all the tubs set up and at temp in the livingroom by late Monday night. Have decided the tubs/rack in the livingroom will be the quarantine, and then in a month they'll get moved to their "forever" (yeah riiiiiiiiight ----until they grow too long for 'em ) tanks in the bedrooms.
The female RTB weighed in at 3.3-something kg. (Just over 7#) The adult male BP was 1770 and the baby, Precious was 280, I think. I've got it all written down at home.
Now it's time to to do the Name Game.
But today, RTB left me a present. Between the SMALL poo and having dumped her water aaaaaaall over the place, I needed to clean and replace the bedding. She was aaaaall tucked away in her hide. Did the announcing thing and started cleaning, and then she tagged my finger. Swelled up pretty good w/lots of blood, but by about noon the holes were all closed up. Finger's still bruised but not tender any more. Unless there's some HUGE way of telling, she's still got all her teeth. Nothing in me.
Will just keep an eye on her and make sure that we get to know one another better. But I'm thinking of punning teeth and devil by naming her DENTE. Hee hee hee
Looking to get a camera w/in a week or so, so I hope to have a Gi-huuuge-ic number of pics of all our snakes and babies to share.

PTHTHThthththththth yeah, well I got sort of tired of the ex doing the 'toy' thing, so now that I'm on my own it wasn't high on the priority list....but you HAVE been warned. I'm getting one, and then it WILL BE TOO LATE!!!
