    Woma Price

I've just looking around at woma stuff and I begun wondering why there price hasn't gone done much. They seem to have large clutches. Is there something special about them or is it just a matter of time.

    Re: Woma Price

If I understand things correctly, Australia shut down all exporting of their animals (or maybe just snakes? Not sure.) Anyhow, Australian snakes are expensive because there is no constant source of wild-caught animals like there are with most other species. They may have relatively large clutches, but if there were few breeding animals to begin with, it will take a LONG time to build up enough breeders so that there are enough babies to meet the demand and bring the prices down.

And anytime the prices drop a bit...demand goes up, and babies get snatched up even faster......

i have seen males for $300 or so - that's not bad. compare that to a blackheaded python!

    $300? Wow.. cheapest I've seen is $450.

Still, compare to an inexpensive BP morph, and these guys aren't bad at all! Wonderful snakes.

Cheapest I've seen is 400$, but like shelby said compared to a bp morph that arn't bad. If they make another drop in price I think their popularity may explode.

it was at a herp show, their last male. ben siegel was selling one for like $350 over the winter as well... priced to sell i guess, definitely not typical.

it's like gasoline... they price it high because they can!
