    Bad Shed!

hey i just got a new 16" BP last week and she got dull, so i stopped handling her.. she shed her face up to the back of her eyes and then has proceeded to scrap the top of her body and belly of old skin but the rest of her old skin is still on, i tried rubbing her with a wet cloth and i can pull little pieces of skin off but it is DEFINATELY not coming off in one piece. is there anything i can do or do i have to wait till her next shed? i keep the tank between 40-60% humitidy, and ive given her a bath and it didnt help at all. she has also eaten since her shed.Thanks.

Daniel always has some good tips.

With khan he to had a terrible shed. I took a box and put a million holes in the lid, lined it with newspaper, got some towels got those damp. Put the towels in the box so he could crawl through them. Put the box under a 50 watt heat bulb so it got nice and humid.

A few hours later......taaadaaa! the skin was shed!

Also try getting a plastic storage container, drill some holes in the lid and fill it a bit with water, put a fake branch in it and let the snake sit for a while. that should help to. i never used that trick myself but the pet store dude suggested it since they use it for their snakes.
