    Signs of RI?

I fed a small rat to my yearling Male BP the other day and when I went to check on him I noticed that his mouth was wattery and full of what looked like saliva. The saliva was sticky and his mouth looked like it was full of water and I thought he was going to regurge but the next day he pooped and this issue went away. What could be the problem?

    Thanks,
    Rusty

    Re: Signs of RI?

An increase in mucous in the mouth is one sign of RI, yes. I would take him to the vet even if you don't notice the saliva now. Better safe than sorry.
