I was glad to see that my new ball finally ate for me. I got her on April 2nd so it hasn't been overly long at all but I was looking forward to her first feed with me. I put 3 rat pups in her hide last night and this morning 2 of them were gone. She looked fat and happy. I never know when someone tells me they are eating f/t until they actually take one for me. Now I just have to wait for that first shed with me. Her eye cap hasn't come off yet but the swelling has gone down so I guess the neosporin has helped. All in all she's doing great and seems to like her new enclosure quite a bit. I wrapped 3 sides of her tank with black foam board to give her some security and insulation. I also had a piece of plexiglass cut to fit the top of her cage with a 6" square cut in the center for the CHE. Altogether, I have 10 snakes (only one of which is a ball) and a veiled chameleon and I am quickly finding out why all of you love your balls so much!(I mean the snakes!) There is definitely something about them.
