Good Week

This week I had one of the best days I can remember in a long time. Yesterday in fact. I have had a real stressful time with work and such lately. Yesterday I got to see the fruits of my labor which really means something to me.

I watched one of two people get married by proxy (over the phone). One from here while he was in Turkey. I helped get them married. It felt really good. I also helped her with a few other things she needed being 8 months pregnant and far from home.

I also saw two people a new Airman and her hubby get thier drivers licenses. I taught them how to drive and let them use my car to take the test. I also helped them get into a car they liked at a good price. I used my people skills on the dealer and thought the dude was going to have a heart attack after I lit him up. They were late getting home and had me worried sick. My troops are like my kids. They did get home safely!

A lot of time we put time, effort and money into things and people and get disappointed. Today I was not disappointed. I really don't have a point to this, just wanted to share a real good day with y'all.

Uh oh! Mom wants something. When she wants people to be nice to her she really means get me a new animal. I wonder what she wants? I bet its a female BCC. Sorry I haven't looked too much this week.
