Found this guy in my garage today

Found this guy hiding out in my garage today and thought I would share some pics of him. He was none to happy with me when I picked him up, tagged me twice and musked me like there was no end. I believe it to be a rat snake.

The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....

....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.

It sounds like he didn't appreciate you finding him a new home. The nerve. Cool little guy though. Thanks for sharing.

Oooh. Cute. I remember living in Texas and picking up everything and anything I could get my little grubby hands on. O_O

Needless to say, scorpions liked to tag me.

Thumbs up Re: Found this guy in my garage today

Wait until you rescue a bullsnake for a local police dept(East Peoria) .Bullsnakes are the loudest snake i have ever encountered .I thought rock pythons sounded like a big gas leak, bullsnakes sound like a tornado wind.

Re: Found this guy in my garage today

Awww Carl maybe he just wanted a ride back to nature in your truck! Geesh! LOL

Nice of you to help him back to his more natural home. I was watching an animal show the other day and one of the animal people got sent on a snake call for one in a garage. Pulled back a garbage can and there it is....a gaboon viper! Dang good sized one too! The guy said in all his years as an animal control officer he'd never been that scared. The amazing thing is the two young boys that lived there had been "playing" with the snake before their father caught on. I guess the angels were watching over those kids that day. Cautionary tale though to know what you are reaching for when it comes to snakes. If you are not sure, call on an expert.
