Sorry should have quantited it...we our having our humidity in the range of >60% most of the time.....Typically between 67-74%.....
We have tried several water bowls.....the one we are using now is the smallest and can be viewed by looking at my other thread at

We have also tried putting the water bowel on the colder side...but that really doesnt help much.....

You want humidity betweem 50-60%, and 70% when they are about to shed. Also, If I remember correctly, too much humidity on a BP, for too long of a period can cause blistering on their stomach. Might want more ventilation on the tupperware to control the humidity and lower it some.

We will try that we currently have 42 holes in the tube.....maybe we'll also try to make a couple of the holes a little bigger...

Re: Loose Scales and High Humidity Problems
A couple more ventilation holes might do the trick. 67-74 is a little high but as long as the surfaces in the cage are not actually damp, it should be ok.

yeah, I wouldn't worry about blisters unless it was actaully damp like elevatethis said. i remember Adam saying that he knows of people that have actaully stuck their hand in a termite mound where ball pythons were and their hand began to sweat because of the high humidity and temperature.
