    AP T70 Cages

Has anyone gotten this large of a cage? They have 3 sizes in the 8' version. (96x36x24, 96x30x18, & 96x24x24) Does the little extra width/depth make that much difference? Or is it just a little more to clean? The one I am planning on getting is $650 and the other two (slightly smaller) are $499.

That'sa lotsa cage! What are you planning to put in it? I would imagine that info would help someone give advice.

As for me...I would probably always opt for more floor space if I could afford it.

Sorry..Early morning and late night. I think I may cram 9 ball pythons in there. J/K

I've got a male burm that I will be putting in there. He's 5 ft now and outgrowing his current living quarters.

If I'da been drinkin, I would have spit all over the keyboard at the thought of 9 bp's in one cage! LOL

From what I understand...technically, the 96x24 cage would most likely be more than enough for a male burm. But like I said, I really like to err on the side of more space. I always feel for a snake that looks like it can hardly turn around in its own home. And you never know just how big a burm may grow...I've heard of males reaching well over 15'....so if you're gonna spend that much money, may as well get the big one.

But that's just me...and I got no burms or anything comparable. I like to pretend that I have money trees growing in the back yard.
