    Commando Mice

You ever get those seriously commando mice that burrow in and under the substrate, fight and tooth and nail for their lives? Drives me absolutely nuts.

I've been trying to feed Bauhamat the same mouse for about three weeks now, and I think the mouse realized that. Every feeding time I toss the mouse in with her, and everytime she even get remotely close to the mouse, it turns and looks at Bauhamat, then jumps all the way across the tank...I think I should get a different mouse.

A quick thump to disorient will take care of that mouse.

I HATE hoppers...or as I like to call them kung fu mice.

Whenever I have a tub like that, I skip it and come back to it few days later. I would rather have one extra smelly tub for a bit than 10 spring-loaded escapees in the rodent shed. There have been multiple times when I have 2 or 3 jump out at once, and I have a brain fart; I can't decide what to do, catch one of the mice, try and stop any other potential jumpers, shove the bin back in, I usually end up standing there dumb-founded for a good 10 seconds, or at least until all escapees are gone from sight.
