    Hottest/best morph?

What is considered the hottest, most popular, best investment morph today? I don't know if that description is worded properly, because hottest and most popular doesn't necessarily reflect a good investment.

In any case, what do you consider the #1 BP morph today?

I'll go with lesser platinum too, not that I'll ever be able to afford one.

I think he's talking about the Blue Eyed Leucistic, but I suppose it could also mean the Black Eyed Leucistic, too.

    Re: Hottest/best morph?

I guess you guy's are right the lesser plat would be number one . Can't afford and would probably never buy one at that price even if I was incredibly comfortable. I guess for my price range the Pied's , Hypo's albino's and caramel's are the hottest. Not to mention Super pastel , if I had to pick one I'd pick the pied.

    Re: Hottest/best morph?

You grouped hottest, most popular, and best investment all in one....ha ha...all ball pythons are hot, popular, and good investments! Now for the top of each group...I think....

The Hottest.......Coral Glow.....There is nothing else like it....not many around either

The Most Popular...you can't go wrong with Pieds! Pieds will always be one of the most popular morphs....and they are even more popular now since this years crosses were wicked! I have the facts to support it too...Pieds ranked #1 in this poll:
    http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....poll&pollid=19

The Best Investment........Axanthics, hypos and pieds rock!!! Mixing traits is the future of ball python morphs...and recessives are necessary!! Recessive crosses will take the most time and work, so all the posers won't be able to exploit recessive combos for a quick buck.

For me the jury is still out on the black eyed lucy ... If the orange blotches and black dots that appear randomly and in varying degrees over the body can be eventually removed through selective breeding, then there is definitely appeal for me ... If I'm going to invest in white snakes, I want SOLID WHITE snakes ... but even then I'd still be primarily a Super Lesser guy because the fire crosses that have been made to date don't hold a candle to the crosses RDR and NERD have done with lessers.

And just a heads up Chris, a mod might come along and ding your post for posting a picture that isn't yours ... I've gotten tagged for this in the past, TOS thing ... I'm pretty sure the rule is "linking to" is OK, put "posting of" isn't??? Oh well, what do I know?
