    Unhappy Worried about my baby

So I've been snakesitting my friend's baby ball for about a month now, and just today I noticed a hard bump in his side, a little farther than halfway down his body, towards the tail-end. I am worried because I have read that they can sustain injuries like slipped vertibrae and that that can cause kinks in the future, and upset his health. I have not rough handled him or pried him forcefully from any perches, and I am afraid that his owner will blame me for this bump. I am more worried, however, about Grey Slick and whether this could be something really serious. I received the number of three good exotic vets in the area, but I can't afford one right now...is there anything else that this could be before I get more worried?

I am not sure. Has he had a bowel movement since you have been watching him? It could be he is "constipated".
