    a Feeding question

    my ball python is going through his molt and i fed him last week, do i feed him again tommorow, or wait, he's a little less than two feet

    It's really up to you. Some snakes will eat during shed, others will not. If you feed live and the snake is in shed be even more vigilant. Even though ball pythons are not heavily reliant on sight to hunt it's still one less fully working sense (just my own take on it).

    Some of our snakes eat during shed, others don't - most all like to be left alone as much as possible during the shed cycle as far as any handling. As long as the snake is healthy then one skipped week won't make any difference. Just make sure that the snake has clean water to drink and your humidity is around 70% (50-60% non-shedding cycle) and you should be good to go whether it wants to eat or not.
