Hi, new here....
Hello everyone,
I'm new here and to BP's. I got my first snake (corn snake) back in Sept of 05. I love him to pieces! Since then I've also fallen in love with ball pythons. I'm hoping in the next few months to get myself a new family member. I'm here to get myself educated on them. I've been looking over, pictures, and some of the topics, and have bookmarked this link.
If anyone has other sites on BP's, I'd love to take a look at them.
Also I'm in Maryland, we have a "Ma & Pa" type of store here called Afishionados. They take pretty good care of their animals there, but I'd still like to get one from a breeder. So if anyone can recommend a good breeder to me, I'd apparicate it!
Thank you
-Lilly

Re: Hi, new here....
Welcome to the forum Lilly, glad you've joined us and that you are considering a ball python carefully and obviously with great concern for your future snake. Education prior to ownership just can never be under-rated.
As Daniel posted in his thread, two of the BP world's best breeders are right in your state you lucky thing! LOL Both have sterling reputations and we in fact have a lovely 05 male het for albino BP from 8BallPythons (if you search the word Malachi you'll find threads on our pride and joy young male in the BP Pictures forum or in our gallery).
Please feel free to ask any question that comes up or post pics and brag on your cornsnake. Most folks here have mixed collections and we appreciate all different types of snakes, lizards, spiders, frogs, scorpions, etc. Only place in the world you can brag about your pet's poop and people won't think you've lost your mind LOL.

New England is a great place to be for ball pythons! Not do you have the fabulous 8 Ball and RDR, but just up the road is New England Reptile Distributors (NERD) in New Hampshire.

Re: Hi, new here....
Welcome to the site! You wont find a better place to find info on Ball Pythons. This is just a wonderful group of people here. Ditto on what everyone else said. You can't go wrong with 8 Ball or Ralph Davis. Adam is an A+ guy and a regular contributor here.
