Thumbs up something good has happened

OK, well this month started out very bad for me as far as my ball python breeding projects are concerned. My last post was about a female that laid some eggs that turned out dying on me.Well a week to the day another female laid 11 eggs for me .All 11 look very healthy and shells are perfect looking. This female was with my pastel male .They are in the incubator as i am writing this.I thought i would share this with all my friends here .

Exciting news! Good luck with this batch, should produce some beautiful babies, I love pastels. You should post some pictures of the parents so we can see what the little ones may look like.

Have fun playing the waiting game now!

By the way, if you want to send a pastel baby to me feel free.

Congrats! Hopefully you will have great odds... All Female Pastels will work, right?

Your experience with the good and bad of BP's is just the beginning. You will experience highs and lows with your animals, but it is all worth it. When dealing with live animals, no matter how healthy they appear, how often you take them to the Vet., how great you husbandry, how expensive your caging and equipment, bad things will happen. That is just dealing with nature. Sorry for your loss and Congrats on the eggs! Keep plugging along for the sake of your animals and your knowledge and the scale will tilt in your favor!

    Take Care,

Update on the eggs this female laid.I just checked on the eggs and two have gone bad .I did open them up and from what i see they were fertile.I am not sure why they did not survive but these two eggs were smaller then the others. We have 9 left now
