Last night's unsuccesful feeding attempt of a hopper didn't crush my hopes of the new girl eating yet. The hopper mouse that I used last night will be used later as F/T once I get her to eat live for me a few times.
After reading through Adam's hatchling care journal entry last night about how to get stubborn snakes to feed I tried another live hopper today. I went to work and bought the little mouse, threw him in the cage and shut the lights off and covered the cage, when came back to check on the little girl after my night class the hopper was gone! I lifted the cool end hide and found her underneath it with a bulge in her stomach.![]()
Definitely excited about her feeding, one step closer to being able to somewhat tame her down, she still looked at me tonight with the get the hell out of my viv sneer...![]()
After she defecates, I'm planning on taking the sample with me to the vet with her to get it checked out.
Thanks for listening,
Jason
