I lost her :(
I forgot to close the cage friday night when I went out and I didnt realize it until this afternoon. I'm so bummed, where should I look? i already checked the obvious, including tearing my closet apart. I really hope she didnt somehow get outside

Check everywhere nearby that is dark warm and cramped. Open shoeboxes (we had one get up a flight of stairs and into the my wife's shoeboxes). Was the door to the room opened?
Do a search on "escape" for a good list of tips you can try (not to self - good FAQ material).

Hehe, I was just thinking that, looked through the FAQs/caresheets/etc. for an "Oh noes! My snake escaped!" help guide...=)
*edit*
I've read that laying down a line of flour on the floor to see if she moves across it helps - also read doing a line of toothpicks...

Re: I lost her :(
Ack! Sorry to hear that.
1)Leave water for her to drink all over the house.
2)Crank up central heat.
3)Search at night.
4)They usually don't wonder off too far from their hides.
5)Leave plastic bags on the floor, so you would hear them rustle as a snake crosses over them.
6)Make sure there are no open doors or windows nearby.
7)Leave a line of flour on your door ways, so you would know if she crossed from one room to the other.
Thats all I can think off the top of my head. Good luck!

Re: I lost her :(
I read on a forum somewhere that snakes like to move along things for security... walls... baseboards.. big furniture etc. It said to get a food item that you usually use and rub it along a wall leaving a scent trail, then at the end put the dead food item in a hide of some kind in a nice warm place. Wait. Collect sleepy full-o-food snake.
Worth a try!
