Help posting pics

Ok I am so lame at anything computer related and I have read the post " posting your pictures" and I have little to no problems posting in my gallery but just can't get how to post in a thread.
I have taken some pics of my AP setup and my Ozzy and wanted to post in a thread but can't figured it out
Can someone explain to me as if you were talking to a very computer dumb person

Do you know how to transfer them from your camera to your computer?

yes I have Kodak easy share so I just plug my camera in and the software does the rest.
I have read the link Jonah did but at about step 3 I am lost

Actually...you can just skip step 3....

...bring the picture you want to post up in your gallery.....scroll down to the picture information and copy the BB Image Code that is provided....just paste that in the thread where you want the pic....and everything should work great.
