my BP doesn't go inside the hiding.
maybe because i have alot of "wooden bedding" in the cage? it covered itself in the corner and stayed there. or because its hiding is too big for it? hmm or maybe i placed it in the wrong place? yes the hiding is in the corner. she's in the corner between the walls and the hiding.
any suggestions?
i know its only been couple of days. should i leave it as it is? or move its hiding?

How many hides do you have? It sounds like just one. You should have at least two if you're using a glass viv, one for the warm side and one for the cool side.
If it's too big, she may not use it. She could be in the corner, because two sides of her can touch something (the glass). They like to be very snug in their hides. Here's an example:

I THOUGHT that this was too small when I first received my girls last week. And Adam, who always has a knack of being right (darn him and his experience! LOL!) said that it looked just fine to him and it appeared she liked it too. Well, darned if the girls don't love those hides, and now have figured how to get their whole bodies squished up in there without lifting the hides.
I have two that love the bowls and one that loves the purple box thing (I just picked up from a dollar store and melted an entrance with my solder wand).
If your hide is too big and she can't feel any of it touching her while she's in there, it may not feel secure enough for her. Try adding more hides and going smaller.

thanx for the great advice. i'll remove the big one and add 2 more small ones.
the material doesn't matter, does it?
i should only change the size?

Some people use cardboard, but you run the risk of that getting wet and moldy, so you'd have to keep an eye on it and change it out as needed.
That blue bowl came in a 3 pack for $1. Be creative. You can use more than 2 hides though, if you have a lot of floor space, you might want to add extra hides so that she has more choices.

I love Adam's advice that if anything can fit in a hide other than the snake....the hide's too big LOL.
Whatever you pick for the hide just make sure it's easily washable as some snakes will use their hide as a bathroom too. We use those blue bowls like Robin showed you for our smaller snakes and big black rubber dog dishes for our larger snakes. Terracotta plant pots or the overflow water dish from underneath plant pots works good too. Just melt or chip an entrance and smooth any rough edges and you are set. Try to stay with stuff that won't absorb dampness or rot and grow mold like say cardboard or things like that.
Smaller adult female in her dog dish hide.

Baby ball python in his terracotta hide (he's moved up to the blue bowls now as he's growing so fast)

I can't find any of those stinkin terra cotta pots around here. Its dead winter and gardening and planting supplies are very scarce. I've tried Home Depot, K-mart, Wal-mart and a few floral places still nothing. Can anyone share where they found theirs?

Besides the places you just mentioned, try also a JoAnn's Fabric/Craft store...I know ours had a bunch in there the other day...
And if you have a Lowe's, try there. I think Lowe's has a bigger "garden" department than Home Despot...
Note on Lowe's: While it's not listed on their website, I found a 170 cubic inch bag of Mosser Lee sphagnum moss at Lowe's for like 3 bucks...(same stuff as recommended by Smulkin in this thread), which is like 3 times as much for 2 bucks less than ESU moss I found at Petco. Yay!
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)
