    Cage question.

I have been looking at different types of cages for my herp room and I was thinking about Barrs cages. They are local and ive heard good thing about them and their cages seem to be really nice. My question is has anyone used them and will a 24x12x12 cage work for an adult male and will a 36x12x12 cage work for a big female?

    Re: Cage question.

I don't have and of those specific cages, but they seem like they should be fine. Plastic cages are always great for humidity and keeping clean. The size may be a little small, though. A general rule of thumb is one square foot of cage space for every foot of snake. You may want to get the one with just the rear vent as the one with the top and rear vents may be difficult to control the humidity.
