    Constipation?

    Ok so i about 2 days before i feed my BP it randomly pooped, it has been almost a week since that feed and she hasnt pooped yet, should i be worried about contipation??

    No, you're fine. Don't worry. It's not unusual for them to go several weeks in between bms. As long as you've had a fecal performed (to detect internal parasites), you usually don't have to worry about wether or not they've gone. I try and keep a record of when my snake's sheds, bms, feedings and cage cleanings. That way I know what's normal for that snake.

    Just so you know for down the road. If you notice that its been a while since they have pooped. Nothing does a better job then a good soaking in luke warm water. That is a great way to get them to go. Give em about 30-40 mins in there( supervised of course) and it will almost always take care of it.

    My bp's have only been home a couple of weeks, so I only handle them for about 5 minutes every few days.


    They seem to poop during these 5 minutes.

    Hahaha! That's why I always take a quick look at the tail area. If bulging and dark, handler beware!
