    Toledo, Ohio information

We may be transferring to Toledo, Ohio with Mike's job. Not definite but a possibility and something we'd like to do as northern Michigan is just not that great a place to live.

Since I'll be doing a lot of hunting online as far as housing and schools and so forth I'm looking for any info I can get on Toledo (I've never even been there). Are there any areas to stay away from, any areas that are quite family friendly, really anything a newcomer should know about? We've heard that the Maumee school are the best so I asked for and got a nice map of what areas their schools cover to help me a bit. Mike's company is actually located in Maumee, Ohio which I understand to be basically a suburb of Toledo (is that correct?).

    Thanks folks.

    Re: Toledo, Ohio information

I've lived in the Toledo area my whole life. Maumee is a suburb, it's a pretty nice area to live, so is perrysburg. If you have any specific questions let me know.
