LOL ...I think it's pretty funny. Since it's been in there since October and the hamster hasn't nibbled on the snake yet, I doubt it will. I imagine so long as both keep getting fed, they'll continue to tolerate each other's presence...but I'm guessing one day the keepers will wake up and find the cage is short one hamster and the snake has suddenly gained a huge pot-belly!

yeah, I heard a story about a snake and a mouse becoming "best friends"...more along the lines of the snake is a bit of a picky eater =P It always cracks me up when people try to assign human traits to animals like that, especially an animal like a snake that pretty much instinct and that's it....But yeah, it's cute (while it lasts )
