step by step ( breeding )

i am getting interested in breeding. however i know very little about genetics. Its something i am willing to learn. i have found a lot of info online about genetics and i need to know if that is a good starting point. Is it possible for someone like me that doesnt know much about genetics, or much of a biology background, to start out and learn on my own?
I would be happy at first to just breed normal Bp's and then move onto morph's down the road. So what steps should i take?

I don't really get exactly what you are asking...there seemed to be alot of questions in that post. You really don't need to know anything about genetics to breed ball pythons....you just need to know a little about genetics if you are trying to produce morphs.

Markus Jayne has a great page on Genetics, definitely the simplest to understand as a layman. Jo actually told me about it months ago when I first joined and was trying to understand it all:

And Ralph Davis's Prooven and Unprooven page is great to learn what's het, dom and co-dom and also what are "designer" morphs (mixing of two or more prooven morphs).
