    Angry Aarghhh....I hate these things!

I just had my first encounter with the 'M' word. Can you guess what it is?.......yep, mites! I've pretty much decided that I'm not their biggest fan. For those of you that don't know I just got my first corn snake about a week ago. Her name is Rugby and she is the cutest little thing. I fed her last night for the first time with no problems but I thought I saw a tiny little black speck on her. Just to be on the safe side I purchased some mite spray today while I was working. When I checked on her a little while ago she had 4 of these things underneath the scales right behind her head. As aggravated as I was I can only imagine how she felt. I gave her a soak and managed to get the mites off of her (the ones I could see anyway) and applied a very small amount of the mite spray. She is now in a small Steralite with paper towels as a substrate until I can clean her other home. Is there anything else I can/should be doing for her? I just want my little one to be healthy and happy....
Sorry for such a long post everyone....I just needed to vent a little bit.

I got a can of provent-a-mite. used it as it said to, and wiped all around the cages, and i havnt seen a mite since. Make sure you scrub everything down, and soak or bake any wood/branches.
