    Freshly shed Surinam BCC (PIC)

Julinar just shed her skin today. Two pieces (her butt piece didn't want to come out so her tail part ripped off from the rest of the shed lol)

She's two feet long almost exactly.

Thanks. She really has a cherry red tail, but the camera won't get it.

April - she is really gorgeous!! When the weather warms up, try photographing her outside on a neutral background w/indirect lighting. You'll have a better opportunity to capture her true colors that way.

    Such a lovely snake!

I don't know how old she is. I bought her Oct 8 at the NARBC show. She was farm bred from a wild caught mother.

Thanks Kara.. I will take her outside when it gets toasty again. I can see her darting for the nearest tree though! She's a real grabber. If I walk by a lamp-post with her, she tries to pull the lamp down on me!

Beautiful! The sleek grey appearance of the youngins with the deep contrast of the tails always blow me away... What a lovely girl!

*whistles* I love her silvery color as well as the reds! Absolutely beautiful. Are the conjoined saddles a common thing in Suris?

She's got a super nice pattern (imo) most seem to have thicker saddles and usually not such pronounced widow's peaks.
